Position Summary:

Seeking General Maintenance positions willing to work evenings, nights and weekends to support the maintenance needs of our property. The ideal candidates will be self-motivated and can demonstrate broad competency across multiple trade disciplines.

Perform various tasks relating to general maintenance, preventive and emergency maintenance of the Club. Act on Supervisors instructions: ensure comfort and safety of guests and staff.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform regular, preventative and emergency maintenance tasks as assigned
  2. Make repairs as necessary in a safe and professional manner
  3. Routine cleaning as assigned of work areas
  4. Attend to issues on behalf of members or guests in a timely manner and follow-up appropriately
  5. Is alert to issues that may occur on the property, that need attention
  6. Follow all safety measures to ensure that work areas are safe at all times and wear safety equipment when required
  7. Handle all tools appropriately and report any issues immediately
  8. Moving and assisting in transportation of furniture and equipment
  9. Daily communication with supervisor(s) and daily reports are concise, detailed and turned in
  10. When others are assisting you, it is your responsibility to inspect their work, it must be approved by you when completed for safety and quality
  11. Any other requests as required by manager


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable
  • Skilled in manual labour and capable of lifting 50lbs
  • Basic knowledge and service of electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, tiling, painting
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations

Licenses and Special Requirements:

  • Valid driving license

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects
  • Ability to coordinate the movement of arms, legs and torso together when the whole body is in motion
  • Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without experiencing undo fatigue
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with the body, arms and/or legs
  • Ability to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel and walk as required
